My name is Itaru Ivan and I am 25 years old. I’m half Spanish and half Japanese. I completed a bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Amsterdam in August 2024. Thus, I lived in Amsterdam for 3 years from 2021 to 2024.
When I moved to the Netherlands, I fell in love with the country/city—not just as a place to live, but to thrive. Its green spaces invite relaxation, while there are innovative developments like those in Amsterdam Noord that blend creativity and sustainability. Every neighbourhood has a distinct character, shaping my mental map of unique places. This strong sense of place makes the country/city meaningful to me.
After I completed my degree, I moved to Japan to work. However, now I am coming back to the Netherlands to pursue my masters degree(Urban Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam) and a dream. I am very very excited about this!
I have to manage everything such as moving from Japan to the NL, registering, studying, and working. In order to make this work, I really need a place to stay secured by August 2025.
A little bit about me:
I like to cook, play sports(climbing, football, and gym), go to the bars(especially jazz!), and also flea markets! I would also love to get to know my potential housemates and be good friends so that we can have a nice dinner together, explore the cities, and talk about our lives :))
I like to keep my living space clean and tidy and I am always open to communication to make our living environment better.
